** 🧒** Children’s Day Celebration **👏👏👏**

 


            Children are the ones whose make the whole world fragrant✿. Every child has been looking forward to celebrating Children’s Day since childhood.

There will also be various concerts, gift giving etc. for the children. On the day, almost every child enjoys playing a variety of fun games. 😄   
 

 

            Celebrating Children’s Day 2021 was a bit of challenge for us this time. Because of the Covid-19 issue we did not get a chance to physically celebrate Children’s Day. But, we celebrated Children’s Day online.

 

 

        More than a thousand people, including parents of children, joined online to celebrate Children’s Day with us. We were able to present songs, dances, performances, play and many more. We performed song in Sinhala, Tamil and English for the children that day. We were also able to present stories and puppets through computer technology for the enjoyment of children.

With this epidemic, all the adults and children from home were very happy that day. This time we were very happy to be able to increase the happiness of the children through online.

I also wish that next year we will be able to celebrate Children’s Day by physically dancing, singing, and performing in front of children.  🙏🙏🙏...........''

Sigiriya

                  Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya the name refers to a site of historical by a archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high.             According to the history of Sri Lanka this rock used as a kingdom in Sri Lanka by king Kashyapa in 5 th century. He built his palace on top of the rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY

              My favorite time of the day is between 5 p. m and 7 p. m. This is the time when the sun is setting and the air is cooling down. At this time, I play some games, watch T.V, reading books.             My house is a large one. So, my family planted many trees surrounding our house, Birds come to the trees in the evening to sing their songs. I just sit under my favorite mango tree and listen to these songs.             However I cannot just sit quietly all the time. My parents sometimes ask me to help them. These I do gladly for the air is nice and cool. Working under a hot sun is one thing I don’t like. In the evening the sun is soft and gentle. So I like it.
